Welcome to Mongolia! Whenever, your international flight lands in city airport, you will be transferred to the hotel in Ulaanbaatar.
Accommodation: Hotel 4*

At 9 am, your tour guide and driver will pick you up and start your trip to Bayan Gobi - the beautiful sand dunes are covered with rare bushes shrubs such as willow, elm, dogwood, and a small forest near a river. It is very unique to see this type of ecosystem, a combination of mountains, forests, steppes, and sand dunes in one location. After lunch at the tourist camp, we will visit the camel herder family and explore their unique nomadic lifestyle and discover this magnificent place from on camelback. 
Here take pictures with mini–Gobi Desert landscape with camels. Dinner and overnight at Tourist camp.

After breakfast, our excursion continues to Kharkhorin, a small village, and one of the country's major tourist destinations. Historically once was an ancient capital of the Mongol Empire and the most important cities in the history of the Silk Road.
Upon arrival, we will visit the museum of Karakorum and learn more about Mongolian history. After lunch, continue the guided tour to the magnificent and oldest Buddhist Monastery complex of Erdenezuu.  Made up of three different types of Buddhist architectures (Tibetan, Chinese, and Mongolian), the monastery will be the perfect backdrop for photographing monks in their crimson robes.

This morning, drive to the Hustai National Park, where the world’s last wild horse (never domesticated), Takhi inhabit.  En route, visit nomad family – experience nomadic life and enjoy tasting dairy products. Upon arrival at Hustai, visit the small Ger information center- which shows some detailed information about the last truly wild horses. 
After enjoying lunch at the tourist camp, take a short drive and walking to take photos of the wild horses in their natural habitat.  Also, you may have the chance to photograph roe deer, eagle, marmot, and other animals.

At 8.00 am depart for Terelj National Park. the nearest and the most breathtaking sightseeing from the capital Ulaanbaatar. In the afternoon, we will explore the national park and see Turtle Rock - the symbol of the National Park. You can climb on the rock if you want, Also, visit the Ariyabal meditation temple.  Once you reach the temple and stand on the top of the hill, you will be amused by the whole park view. In the evening, visit Nomad Family to take photos of the nomad family with a dramatic photo background and enjoy tasting dairy products.

Terelj National Park

This morning, we will return to Ulaanbaatar.  En route, you will drive to “Genghis Khan Statue Complex” which is currently the biggest (40m high) equestrian statue in the world. You can go inside and enjoy museums, souvenir shops.   After lunch at a good local restaurant in Ulaanbaatar, visit the Museum of Mongolian National History – It provides an excellent overview of the history and culture of Mongols from prehistory to the contemporary era. Continue to visit Sukhbaatar square which lies at the heart of the city. The Mongolian Parliament Building stands in the north of the square, displaying an astonishing sight of Genghis Khaan and his warriors’ sculptures. Next, visit the largest glorious Gandan monastery and capture the monks’ daily rituals.

In the morning, take a flight to Ulgii (~3 hours), the capital of Bayan-Ulgii, Mongolia’s westernmost province.  Upon arrival drive to Tsagaan gol valley in Altai Tavan Bogd National Park. We will pass through Ulaankhus and Tsengel villages. En route to Tsagaan gol stop at Deer Stones Monuments. At Tsagaan gol, the group will be hosted by a nomadic Tuvan family. We will experience the nomadic culture, daily lifestyle, and hospitality of the Tuvan people and try bow shooting. Enjoy traditional meal Boodog for a dinner with the family.

Total distance: 200km, driving for ~6hrs.  

These two days, we will stay near Altai Tavan Bogd. There trek toward the Altai Tavan Bogd peaks of 4100-4374m. You can take photos of a horse or camel caravan which suites the Western Mongolian landscape, rocky and show-capped mountains.  While trekking we will cross glaciers that connect those five peaks. You will capture all those 5 peaks including the Potanin glacier.

Drive to UNESCO World Heritage of Petroglyphic Complexes of the Mongolian Altai at the bottom of the Shiveet Khairkhan. It is a sacred mountain where rich in wilds such as Ibex, wild sheep. Then reach the Kazakh eagle hunter family. Enjoy the afternoon with a hospitable host’s home learning about Kazakh traditions in-depth, particularly about training Golden Eagles. You will stay and rest in a separate beautifully decorated Ger (yurt) next to a Kazakh family. There are enough scenes that you can take photos of nature, eagle, livestock, and children. In the evening, join the family for a traditional Kazakh dinner.

Today we’ll return to Ulgii town for Golden Eagle Hunting Festival. Visit Nairamdal monument hill to see a panoramic view of Ulgii town on the Khovd river. and then visit the local market. In the evening we will enjoy a small concert by the local folk song singers with their traditional instruments.

Total distance: 180km, driving for ~4hrs.  

 

In the morning, we will drive to Sayat small hill for the festival.
Program on 1st day of the festival

  • The Opening ceremony with a parade of participants on horseback with their eagles. 
  • Calling eagle on arm. Eagle will be released from the top of the mountain, and land on the trainer's arm when he calls the eagle among people down.
  • The festival includes a Uriankhai archery competition. 
  • Also, there small Camel race takes place. 
  • In the evening, enjoy a Kazakh traditional concert at a local theater in Ulgii town.

Today, 2nd day of the festival continues. This day eagle hunters compete with some traditional and interesting games. 

  • Eagle hunters drag animal skins pretending it is a real fox or any live animal and an eagle must catch this skin. 
  • The Kyz Kuar game show is a traditional horseback riding game for couples who race and if the girl can catch the boy, boys are whipped by girls. 
  • There are other entertaining games such as Push Cashy (fighting for death goat body)
  • Closing and award ceremony for best eagles with their best trainers.
    Return to the Ger camp for dinner and overnight.

Today, we will return to Ulaanbaatar. Upon arrival in Ulaanbaatar, transfer to your hotel. Then it's free time for you to rest or wander on your own around the city before your departure tomorrow. Farewell dinner is at your hotel.

Total distance: Flight takes 1.5hrs and 200km driving for ~4hrs.  

 

As your memorable trip comes to end, then you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to your next destination or home.
