Welcome to Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. Our professional guide will meet you at the Arrival Hall of the airport, carrying a board with your name. Afterward, you will be escorted to the hotel. After check-in, if you feel like going for a walk and checking out places nearby, feel free to ask the hotel receptionist for recommendations.

In the early morning, you will be transferred to the city airport for a morning flight to the Gobi Desert (~1.5 hours). Upon arrival, your local tour guide and driver greet you with your name on the signboard and depart to the Bayanzag which means ‘rich in saxaul shrubs’. Once it was once an ancient sea bed. This amazing place is more commonly known as ‘Flaming Cliffs’ and is where many Paleontological findings have been discovered. American paleontologists led by Roy Chapman Andrew’s findings here proved to the world that dinosaurs laid eggs.

Today, our excursion will start at 8 am at the extraordinary Khongor sand dune the largest and most breathtaking sand dune in Mongolia. The sand dunes make you feel extraordinary comfort and infinite peace.
Reach the tourist camp around lunchtime and relax until Gobi’s hot temperature decreases. In the evening, visit the local camel herder family in their ger, and experience their nomadic lifestyle and ride a camel to explore the area.
Next is the beautiful green oasis of Seruun Bulag near the Khongor River and sand dunes. Then, climb up to the highest point of the sand dunes called Singing Dune. Dinner and overnight at the tourist camp.

After relaxing breakfast, we will proceed to Yol valley (also called Yolyn Am & Eagle valley) in the hot Gobi Desert, which shows unusual scenery. On the way, you will have lunch at Bayandalai village.
At Yolyn Am, you will do pleasant hiking to reach the end of the gorge with thick ice layers throughout the year. Surrounding mountains are home to argali, ibex, and many birds of prey, as well as numerous small rodents. Before dinner, we will reach Dalanzadgad town and stay overnight in a good local hotel.

In the early morning, transfer to the local airport and fly back to Ulaanbaatar. Upon arrival at the city airport, we will take 2.5 hrs to drive to Terelj National Park, the nearest and the most breathtaking sightseeing from the capital Ulaanbaatar First, we will explore the national park and take a little drive to see Turtle Rock – the symbol of the National Park.
You can climb on the rock if you want, Also, visit the Ariyabal meditation temple - Once you reach the temple and stand on the top of a hill, you will be amused by the whole park view.

After breakfast, we will return to Ulaanbaatar. On the way visit the “Genghis Khan Statue Complex” which is currently the biggest (40m high) equestrian statue in the world. You can go inside and enjoy museums, and souvenir shops.
In the afternoon, continue to explore the city and visit the largest glorious Gandan monastery and capture the monks’ daily rituals.
Continue to visit the Museum of Mongolian National History – It provides an excellent overview of the history and culture of Mongols from prehistory to the contemporary era. After lunch at a good local restaurant, visit Sukhbaatar square which lies at the heart of the city. The Mongolian Parliament Building stands in the north of the square, displaying an astonishing sight of Genghis Khaan and his warriors’ sculptures.
Afterward, we will visit Zaisan Memorial Hill a popular tourist attraction and one of the highlights of Ulan Baatar because of the fantastic views it offers over the city. The evening is dedicated to visiting the “Folklore show”. It’s a great chance to hear Khöömii (throat singing) and see some fabulous costumes. After dinner, transferred to the hotel.

Today, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the city airport for the flight to Murun, which is the town center of Khuvsgul Province. Upon landing at Murun airport, your guide and driver lead you to Khuvsgul Lake, which is known as the Switzerland of Mongolia and the second clearest lake in Central Asia.
Take 2 hour drive to the Khatgal village on the shore of the lake and visit the village market and main port of the lake. Upon arrival at the tourist camp, we will explore the national park on horseback. Mongolia is the best destination for horse riding trips and especially Khuvsgul province is the best-recommended place for this experience.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast on the shore of the lake. You will take an exciting boat trip on the crystal clear Khuvsgul lake to meet reindeer herders and explore their daily life not traveling far on rough roads and riding horses for several days to the remote Taiga. Here are great opportunities to do hiking along the shore or bicycle, which you can hire from the camp or climb to the mountain. Overnight at a deluxe Ashikhai ger camp.

Early this morning, we will return to Murun town and take a return flight to Ulaanbaatar. On the way, you will visit Uushig ancient Deer Stone Monument another wonder of the Khuvsgul region.
This is most clearly depicted by deer stones left behind by bronze-age men. If time allows, we will also visit a local market to experience small-town daily life. Upon arrival at the city airport, transferred to the hotel. Farewell dinner is at your hotel.
